Workshops Offered by the RWC

In addition to one-on-one tutoring, the Reading/Writing Center offers group workshops on specific topics and skills. Some workshops are offered at scheduled times over a semester. Often, however, tutors arrange them at special times on request from students who are collaborating on an assignment or a project.

If you and others would like tutoring on a specific subject, please contact the RWC at (850) 644-6495, and ask what workshops are coming up or request one on issues you want help with.

Previous workshop topics have ranged from the creation of believable fictional characters to the understanding and use of visual rhetoric (i.e., not just how written texts work, but how they images, charts, tables, and other graphic elements can contribute to a composition as well).
